Essex has always been known as a great place to live especially if you live in London and want to move out and be nearer the coast. While it doesn't fall into the most affordable place to live in the UK, with a great mix of properties and areas it really has something for everyone.

From Colchester with its rich history, zoo and stunning villages to beach life in Clacton-on-Sea a popular resort in the summer months, Essex seems to have everything and more for living and working.

An approximate house in main residential areas is £500k+ many sitting at £600k sale price but the county has a good mix of properties to suit every budget which is another great benefit.
